Rising to Victory
In heartbreaking news, Vic passed away in November of 2024.
Vic is Amy's first horse and the reason for Fox Valley Stables. Vic is the all around best horse in the barn. At 29 he is still young at heart and loves showing, hacking out, fox hunting, and hunter paces. The safest horse you will meet, he is a great confidence builder for riders of all levels. Vic has shown up and down the east coast on the Arabian circuit ( registered Anglo Arabian), Intercollegiate competitions, Children's hunters,and eventing. He has had the distinction of teaching students and the IHSA equestrian teams at Delaware Valley College, UNC, and NC State. Broken and trained by Amy Siebert Ewendt. Vic is available for lessons on a case by case basis.
Max
Nax is owned and loved by Grace Getty. He is such a fun guy with tons of personality. He’s such a kind soul and is a wonderfully safe and confidence building horse. Max loves going through the neighborhood or adventuring off property and he's even competed in some local shows and is a fan favorite everywhere he goes. His hilarious personality and sweet soul draw most people to him and he's always excited for a treat!
Smart Bomb
Pierre is owned and loved by Mikala Huemmer and is our resident talented jumper and eventer. He is a big, bold TB gelding with so much athleticism and talent! Pierre has experience eventing up to Prelim, doing the 1.2 meter jumpers, and loves to go out for trail and field rides. We look forward to many shows and clinics with this wonderful horse and watching Mikala take him even farther! What a wonderful team.
Aisland Rubi
Rubi is a wonderfully sweet and kind warmblood who is owned and loved by Bailey VanBemmelen. This beautiful young lady is expanding her dressage career and loving going out in the fields with all her new best friends. Rubi loves attention and treats and is always up for an adventure. You can tell from her luxurious coat that her owner is an expert level groomer! Rubi fits right in with our herd and is an all around gem of a horse to both handle and ride.
Maya
Maya is our new resident red headed TB mare and we love all her sass. She is owned and loved by Galena and these two make a perfect team. This little mare is an all around good egg and loves treats and attention. She’s very much a lady and has wonderful manners and such kind eyes.
Splash
Owned by Emily Padvorac, Splash is our only grey pony on the farm and he's truly full of fun and personality! If you watched the Black stallion, he's not too far off the mark from the smart and playful Merry legs, just much less mischievous! Splash is a dressage pony extraordinaire and is also kind and easy to handle. We're so lucky to have this group of geldings who get along, love to play, and even groom each other.
Bonnie
Bonnie is owned and loved by Umber and is an adorable gypsy vanner cross. Bonnie is the sweetest thing in the barn and loves attention and treats. She is learning how to be an all around fabulous horse and is so smart and tries so hard. She is great out in the neighborhood and loves going for adventures to the moss.
