Rising to Victory
Vic is Amy's first horse and the reason for Fox Valley Stables. Vic is the all around best horse in the barn. At 29 he is still young at heart and loves showing, hacking out, fox hunting, and hunter paces. The safest horse you will meet, he is a great confidence builder for riders of all levels. Vic has shown up and down the east coast on the Arabian circuit ( registered Anglo Arabian), Intercollegiate competitions, Children's hunters,and eventing. He has had the distinction of teaching students and the IHSA equestrian teams at Delaware Valley College, UNC, and NC State. Broken and trained by Amy Siebert Ewendt. Vic is available for lessons on a case by case basis.
Clyde
Clyde is owned and loved by Regina Taggert. He is our newest addition and is a safe and total confidence building horse. His kindness under saddle has given Regina so much joy and their partnership is truly wonderful. Clyde used to be fox hunted and used in various lesson programs before Regina found him and now he lives a life of luxury with the absolute best care he could ever hope for. Clyde loves going through the neighborhood or adventuring off property and he's even competed in some local shows and is a fan favorite everywhere he goes. His blue eye and sweet soul draw most people to him and he's always excited for a treat!
Smart Bomb
Pierre is owned and loved by Mikala Huemmer and is our resident talented jumper and eventer. He is a big, bold TB gelding with so much athleticism and talent! Pierre has experience eventing up to Prelim, doing the 1.2 meter jumpers, and loves to go out for trail and field rides. We look forward to many shows and clinics with this wonderful horse and watching Mikala take him even farther! What a wonderful team.
Yogi
Yogi is a truly special horse who came to us after complex colic surgery at NC State. Owned by Regina Reagan, he has come back from his rehab work and is now back to his happy, healthy self. He loves attention, carrots, and going for rides. He has a ton of personality and is very loved around the farm! Yogi has started working on improving his self carraige, lateral work, and even some small jumping exercises. We are so proud of this handsome gentleman and look forward to helping continue to grow in his riding career.
Aisland Rubi
Rubi is a wonderfully sweet and kind warmblood who is owned and loved by Bailey VanBemmelen. This beautiful young lady is expanding her dressage career and loving going out in the fields with all her new best friends. Rubi loves attention and treats and is always up for an adventure. You can tell from her luxurious coat that her owner is an expert level groomer! Rubi fits right in with our herd and is an all around gem of a horse to both handle and ride.
Sadie
Sadie is our new resident red headed TB mare and we love all her sass. She is lwned and loved by Kayla and these two make a perfect team. This little mare is allaround a good egg and hunters, equitation, and low level eventing and combined training are Sadie's strengths. She loves going out for trail rides and enjoying time down at the Moss Foundation. Sadie also enjoys bossing all the geldings around and takes her job as "lead mare" very seriously. All the boys are in love with her but she seems on the fence on which one holds her attention day to day. Fox Valley Stables Bachelorette perhaps?? will you accept this carrot?
Splash
Owned by Emily Padvorac, Splash is our only grey pony on the farm and he's truly full of fun and personality! If you watched the Black stallion, he's not too far off the mark from the smart and playful Merry legs, just much less mischievous! Splash is a dressage pony extraordinaire and is also kind and easy to handle. We're so lucky to have this group of geldings who get along, love to play, and even groom each other.
Andy
Andy is owned by Laura Geiger and is an adorable young TB. Andy is the sweetest guy in the barn and loves attention and treats. He is learning how to be an eventer and is so smart and tries so hard. He is great out in the neighborhood and loves going for hacks with his friends.
